Just imagine found and repurposed materials, paint and fashion plus lots of creativity and add lots of talent and ability. The result would look something like this fantastic collection from Luke Brooks. It’s not clear that these fashions are indeed repurposed however, think of the possibilities.
Brooks graduated from Central St. Martins in 2009 and studied knitwear. According to a recent interview, Brooks believes in the “talismanic properties” of clothing. Skill, craft, performance, philosophy are important. The interview conducted by the Knitting & Crochet Guild can be found here. What do you think of this collection?
