Bay Area resident Mandy Aftel’s of Aftelier is a true pioneer – spearheading a renewed interest in bespoke handmade, natural perfumes. She has been creating perfumes made from only natural ingredients for well over a decade now. Her recent exhibit Living Perfume at Henri Bendels attracted a lot of press. She is also the author of the award winning book Essence and Alchemy: A Natural Hisotry of Perfume. As the founder of the Natural Perfumer’s Guild, Ms. Aftel continues to expand with a line of body oils, chef’s essences and soaps. Please check out this video and her site for more information.
