earth tones & playful prints at ethos paris spring 2010 collection

June 3rd 2010 in fashion & beauty

“Ethical, creative and profitable.” Perhaps you recall eco-friendly fashion house, Ethos Paris from last year’s post? This line for both men and women is a favorite of mine with affordable prices. Just as a recap, Ethos Paris is a fair trade, organic and sustainable fashion house that was founded in Paris in 2002. Ethos’ goal is to be “a model of alternative business practice in the garment industry.” Care is taken is taken with every facet of garment production. The company provides education and training, recycles waste water, uses botanical dyes and organic and fair trade cloth such as bamboo, raffia, alpaca wool and cotton. Designers Johanna Riplinger and Katrin Serres Berrisch have created a stylish and fun collection of earth tones and playful prints paired with blues, violets and whites that can be worn for spring and well into summer.
