time for some new shoes?

February 16th 2009 in fashion & beauty

Being a veg(etari)an doesn’t just stop at food – consider the shoes issue. Think back many years to the choice between canvas or Payless shoes. Things certainly have changed; veg(etari)an shoes (and I’m not talking only canvas) are now easy to get.

Recently, I found about this useful web site. Basically,www.vegan-shoes.com, is a portal for well-known and lesser-known companies that make shoes suitable for veg(etari)ans.  Men’s and women’s brands include: Chinese laundry, New Balance and Inov-8.  There are also some strictly vegan brands such as NOHARM and Te Casan (by Natalie Portman). Prices vary based upon the seller(s) for a specific shoe. Be sure to read the personal stories about the necessity of this site. Vegan Shoes is based in Connecticut, USA. A one-stop shop, cool accessories and some apparel are also available.

Your Comment:

Violets are well known for their exquisite fragance and many uses in aromatherapy.  Also a symbol of love and faithfulness, authentic violets are incredibly expensive when purchased commercially.  They make delicious herbs used in cooking.  For the true violet experience, it’s best grow them in your own garden.
